Paul was born March 3rd, 1950 to the Rev. E. Jay, and Mrs. Ruth (Parker) Amey, and is the oldest of their four children, having a younger sister and two brothers. Paul graduated from Pemberton Township H.S., Asbury College, and entered the ministry in 1972, while attending Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Paul and his wife Linda have been married for 34 years, and have a daughter, Bethany, a graduate of Eastern University, and a son, Jonathan, completing his freshman year in college. Their 5-year-old beagle, Casey, is also an integral part of their family.
Pastor Amey enjoys reading, classical music, hymns and gospel music, astronomy, and origami. His wife Linda does scrapbooking, quilting, and is known to tackle sudoku puzzles during her lunch break at work.
Pastor Amey looks forward to serving Christ with the people of St. John's. His desire is to be faithful, encouraging others in their walk with Christ, and furthering God's kingdom through the building up of God's people.

Student Ministries Director

Joshua Mularski joined the team in April 2006. Josh comes to us from Rillton, PA in Pittsburgh area with wife Kate. Josh had been a youth pastor for the past five years in the church where he grew up. Prior to that he had been an inner city outreach volunteer for two years and a youth volunteer for three years. He also had experience at a large Bible School as a teacher for high school students and as an instructor teaching college level youth ministry courses. During his most recent position, he led a weekly program for 70-100 students. Josh developed this program himself. Josh has been involved with mission trips as a leader.

Josh received his minister's license from Greater Works Bible School after completing their three year course and a year of full time ministry work.

Josh and wife Kate have a strong love relationship with Our Lord.

Director of Children's Ministries

Sandy Gregory joined our staff on July 1, 2004. Before coming to St. John’s, Sandy held the position of Director of Children’s Ministry at Hope UMC in Voorhees. Before that, Sandy held the position of Director of Christian Education at St. Luke’s UMC in Yorktown, Virginia, which involved oversight of all areas of Christian education. Sandy is a certified Stephen’s Minister, has gone through an intensive (34 week!) Disciple Bible Study, and has attended courses at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C. As Sandy explains, "I love God and I love to serve him through ministries". Sandy grew up Catholic but became a member of a UMC church 10 years ago. Of St. John’s, Sandy says, "I feel God’s spirit here in a powerful way". She feels the people are loving, encouraging, and willing to help. "When I took the job I knew I would be happy, as I would be serving God, but I just didn’t know how much I would love serving him here! Sandy and husband Bob live in Williamstown with their two children, Dylan, 19, and Mandie, 17. She enjoys arts, gardening, reading, music, and race walking (which probably comes in handy when dealing with all the little ones at St. John’s!).
