4 Ways to Prioritze Your Personal Devotions

This past Sunday, we started a new series entitled “Live it Well:  3 Essential Behaviors you’ll never regret.”  The first behavior was labeled “The Best Minutes of your Day.”  Numerous studies and surveys have concluded that daily time with God and in His word are the number 1 predictor of a growing Christian.  Whether you call this time “devotions,” “time with Jesus,” “quiet time” or something else, we cannot underestimate it’s importance.

Yet studies also tell us that only 1 in 5 Christians are actually doing it!  We want to, we see the need to, we even plan to…but life happens and we find this habit choked out of our schedules.

We ended Sunday messge with a “30 Day Challenge” to grow your devotional life- Evaluate where you are, Build habits into your day & Try it out if this is a new concept for you.

The key is to prioritize this inside of our lives!

  1. Set the time.

  2. Find your place.

  3. Resource yourself.

  4. Connect with God!
